Simon has more than twelve years
Information Technology experience working in the public and private sectors,
including two government-funded organizations, two local UGC-funded tertiary
educational institutes (HKIED and HKU), and one listed IT company. He has
successfully managed numerous system implementation projects for commercial
ventures. He has excellent knowledge and experience in system analysis, design,
and implementation of different large-scale database applications
(Oracle/Sybase/SQL Server), network administration, management information
system, IT security, and web infrastructure / application systems. He was the
chief system architect of Paydollar.com, which is a B2C Internet-based Payment
Gateway for e-Commerce web sites implemented with Java in JSP and Servlet using
Tomcat. He is now active in delivering MIS / CRM / ERP / E-commerce applications
to corporate and SME markets. He graduated from CityU HK in 1990.

* Oracle Financials implementation for Hong Kong Institute of Education under
Windows and Sun SPARC Solaris platform
* In-house Human Resources and Payroll system development for Hong Kong
Institute of Education using PowerBuilder and Sybase 11.
* Financial Management System development for Hong Kong Baptist Hospital using
PowerBuilder and Oracle 7.x / IBM AIX
* Executive Information System (EIS) and OLAP system development for University
of Hong Kong using Comshare DecisionWeb, Hyperion Essbase, and Oracle 8i.
* Paydollar B2B and B2C e-Payment collection system development using JSP,
Servlet, ASP, and Oracle 8i
* Product Catalogue and Shopping cart with optional Paydollar E-payment features
for local SME
* Developed custom ERP, Contact Management Systems, and other applications
software for local SME
* Develop Java-based applications for a HKSAR department in a secondment project
using IBM Websphere and VisualAge for Java with XML/XSL
